The State of the Club :
1. I would like to thank every member for making this best club ever!
I would like thank our national Vice President Bubba for the nomination to be your President. I will accept the nomination. Ten years ago I took over as President of Fire & Iron Chapter 1 with 17 members and now we are over 136 chapters with more coming on in the next few months. We have added Stations on both Coasts, in the North and South and even one in the Bahama's. I have enjoyed every minute of it even during some hard times.We are a strong club that is getting stronger . I look forward to serving you for many more years in whatever capacity you will have me.
2. The Money:
A. Money Going out:
1. We have sent the full amount allocated for the national rally.
2. We have expenses for the lawyer who is handling are Not-for-Profit status, with the first check going out this week. Our not-for-profit status will cover ALL Stations and Regions in Fire & Iron.
B. Money coming in:
1. I will assume that every one has paid their station dues, if not get them in! If your Station needs helping paying your dues, due to hard times, see if another Station in your region can help you out, or please let me know ASAP we can always work things out.
2. From the National Store (www.shopfifl.com) we receive 20% of all sales that are made as a not-for-profit group. We are only allowed to make up to 35% of any sales of merchandise to keep our Not-for-profit status good.
3. The National Store: (www.shopfifl.com)
A. Stations and Members can now order in smaller quantities.
B. If you have a design ideas for t-shirts or merchandise that you would like to see or not see, please let us know. (On side note, I have heard some grumbling that there is too much stuff on the National store, you gotta be kidding me.)

A. I have heard that 2 hotels are already sold out so don't delay! I want to see everyone there.
B. To ALL Stations and Florida members along the route to the rally. Chapter 1 and Fire & Iron Express leaves Monday June 7th from Orlando.If you would like to join the express please let us know. If you are in South Florida areas and want to come up the night before let us know so we can get you a place to stay.
C. I would like every member that is coming to rally to bring their department patch as to create a patch board of all the different Fire Deptartments that are involved within Fire & Iron. (And bring extra one for me...LOL, no really I'm serious..)
D. I have been challenged by Big Rick from Station 3 to lose weight. We have a $50 bet to lose 50 pounds or closest to it. If you would like to join in the challenge let us know so we can tell you the rules of the " May the Best Lose Contest" You may bet on Rick or myself or join the contest. Weigh in is June 9th, the first night of the rally.
E. When we are done with the rally I want them to regret that the pilgrims ever landed there!
I would like every member to know don't lose site of what this club is all about, Ride and have some fun!!
